Our Wedding Venues.

Have each got a cozy chapel, making the bride and groom, as well as their function guests feel right at home. Each Wedding Venue are also accompanied by there own private Bridal Suite which the bride can use before the wedding to get ready for the ceremony.

After the Wedding Ceremony the bride and groom can escape into our magnificent gardens for their wedding photos, the function guests are invited to enjoy a welcome drink under our lovely thatched roof, after which, they can also enjoy a stroll in the gardens.

The Ballroom Wedding Venue is softly draped in long white swags, and the function room is enhanced with soft fairy lights that are wrapped around the wooden beams in the roof.

The Sunset Wedding Venue is also beautifully draped from the roof, to the side of the function room. A rain fall of fairy lights are brilliantly displayed behind the draping that falls behind the main table of the bride and groom.

For those Brides and Grooms looking for a smaller more intimate wedding, we have our Wedding Venue Ennyani, which makes any wedding a memorable one. The small intimate chapel can seat up to 60 guests comfortably, making your function guests feel welcome. The reception room is beautifully draped, and has lovely intimate atmosphere.

The bride, groom as well as their function guests, are welcomed into the function room, to enjoy a delicious meal that is prepared by our Makiti's on site chef, after which, the bride and groom are invited to open the dance floor, and enjoy the rest of the evening with their function guests.

Our Wedding Venues Gardens

They are beautifully landscaped, and are absolutely breath taking. The ponds and water fountains compliments the green grass and colourful flowers, while the massive trees welcome anyone and everyone, making them feel like they are in a fairytale. There are different features in the garden, helping our brides and grooms create unforgettable photos. For the bride and groom who would like to have a garden wedding ceremony, not only do our gardens make this possible, but the garden also highlights every aspect of having a garden wedding with its beauty and vast openness.

Our Wedding Venues Accommodation

Wedding accommodation consisting of sixteen lodge rooms and one Farmhouse. Fourteen out of the sixteen lodge rooms can accommodate up to four guests in each room, where lodge room fifteen and sixteen can only accommodate two people each. Our Farm house has got Four rooms, Room one and two is a four sleeper, Room three is a two sleeper, and Room four is a six sleeper. Room one and Room four have en suite bathrooms, where Room two and Room three would then share the house bathroom. There is a fully functional kitchen in the farmhouse, as well as a dining area.

Makiti is fully capable of running different cultural weddings, from English and Afrikaans to African and Portuguese, as well as Muslim, Hindu and Greek weddings. We will definitely be the wedding venue for your wedding, and for you and your function guests to enjoy.

The Ballroom Wedding Venue

One of our most appreciated promises has always been the exclusivity that our clients have to their venues. On walking into the airy thatched function room, you are swept away by the ambience created by dimmed chandeliers and soft voile drapes.

The fairy lights behind the main table and on the beams create a romantic fairy tale atmosphere. The hall becomes one with the enchanting gardens when the big glass doors are opened. The venue seats from 60 up to 400 guests if the verandah is incorporated.

We have a well designed bar in our venues that's fully licensed and operated as per our client's instructions. When the sound engineers installed our sound system they considered the fact that you have different age groups attending the wedding and concentrated our sound on the dance floor to allow guests at the back of the hall to socialize in peace. Our DJ's are very experienced and will discuss the music requirements with the bride and groom. There is also a heavy duty Generator in case of power failures.

Sunset Wedding Venue

The Sunset venue has a more modern look. Big chandeliers hanging from the roof makes an absolute statement in the chapel, foyer and spacious function room. The foyer connects the function room with the chapel.

The drapes in the high roof soften the roof and the venue has a spacious feel to it. There are beautifully draped fairy lights behind the main table that makes the main table the focus point.

The venue can seat maximum of 280 guests without incorporating the verandah area. The beautifully designed sleeper wood bar and doors enhances to the modern picture of the beautiful venue. The fire places are lit during the winter time and a warm and romantic feel is created.

The venue is fully air conditioned. The venue is also exclusive with own honeymoon suite, chapel, function room, beautifully landscaped garden and private parking area as well as a heavy duty Generator in case of load shedding or power failures.

Ennyani Venue

Perfectly suited for functions, conferences, birthday celebrations, corporate annual year end functions, business lunches, private groups or tours or for those Brides and Grooms looking for a smaller more intimate wedding venue.

The Ennyani venue can seat up to 60 guests with a well designed bar in the venue that is fully licensed and operated as per our client's instructions.

For weddings we have a built on chapel and honeymoon suite, available to the brides where they can prepare themselves for that special day. The chapel can also seat up to 60 guests comfortably.

Our starters are plated and served at the tables. Dessert can be plated or served at the buffet with coffee and wedding cake.
